Before You Book - Private Cruise
  • What types of private cruises do you offer?
    We can arrange private versions of our main cruises (Sifnos west coast, Poliegos, half day, full day or afternoon), as well as fully customised itineraries. Tell us your preferred date, duration and style of trip (relaxed bays, sightseeing, snorkelling or a special celebration) and we will suggest the best options.
  • How many people can join a private cruise?
    Amanda can welcome up to 18 guests on board for private cruises. Smaller groups are very comfortable too – from romantic trips for two to families and small groups of friends.
  • Can I customise the route and stops?
    Yes. Private cruises give you much more flexibility in the route and timing. We will suggest an itinerary based on the weather and your preferences (Sifnos west coast, Poliegos, quieter bays, more or fewer swim stops), and the final decisions are made with the captain on the day for comfort and safety.
  • Are food and drinks included?
    Drinks are always included (water, beer, soft drinks). For food, we can offer light homemade meals or snacks on board depending on the type and duration of your cruise. Please let us know in advance about any dietary needs, allergies or if you prefer a simple “drinks & snacks only” setup.
  • Are private cruises suitable for children?
    Yes, many families choose private cruises because of the extra space and flexibility. For safety, children must always be supervised by a parent or guardian on deck and during swim stops. If you are travelling with very young children, please mention this when you enquire so we can advise you.
  • Can you host special occasions (weddings, proposals, birthdays)?
    Absolutely. Amanda is often booked for engagements, small wedding celebrations, anniversaries, birthdays and other special moments. Tell us what you are celebrating and we will help you plan the timing, route and any small extras we can provide on board.
  • Where do we embark and disembark?
    Most private cruises start and end at Platis Gialos, Sifnos. In some cases, and depending on conditions and logistics, different arrangements may be possible. If you have a special request for pick-up or drop-off, please mention it in your message.
  • What happens in case of strong wind or bad weather?
    Safety and comfort always come first. If the wind is strong or the sea is rough, we may adjust the route to calmer bays, change the schedule or, if necessary, propose an alternative date according to our weather policy. We will discuss the options with you as early as possible.
  • How far in advance should I book?
    Private cruises are limited, especially in high season (June–September). We recommend contacting us as early as possible if you have specific dates or a special occasion in mind, so we can secure your preferred day and time.
